THAT’S THE CHARGE
Whether you’d like to attract new tenants, advance equitable charging in your community, or more – we’re here to support you.
While Duquesne Light will build the electric infrastructure from the power grid to the charging station, you must purchase and install charging stations selected from a qualified vendor list. Construction can begin only after you provide an easement to the property. Additional program requirements are described in the Community Charging Program Guide.
The Community Charging Program can reduce your charging station installation costs significantly and current state and federal funding can make a project even more attractive. We’ll help you identify and apply for additional funding opportunities that you may be eligible for.
They will reach out to you directly to discuss your project, walk you through the program application, and guide you through gathering the necessary information to submit your application. After submission, DLC will review your application to identify if your proposed project meets all program requirements. After an application is approved, we’ll work with you to create a detailed site design and schedule construction.
